After about 20 years of teaching, I think it’s safe to say I know a thing or two about how it works.
I find teaching to be rewarding and fun work. It is truly amazing to teach (young) people and watch them grow.
How great is it to see them play a killer groove with a huge grin on their face, discover the instrument's countless sounds, and feel like an integral part of a band's energy?!!
Or when I play them some legendary music they hadn't heard before?!!
I love teaching, and I am constantly working on improving how I pass on my knowledge.

Above all, it’s about connecting with people. That requires an approach tailored to each individual.
This applies to the lesson structure, but certainly to the music we play as well!
In short: good vibes, clear lesson materials, a suitable instrument, the right music—and let’s rock!
